Diary Dates

Unless otherwise stated, all the activities take place at Sudbury Meadow, Crosshall Road, Eaton Ford, St Neots.  For all practical activities, please wear strong leather boots and bring a pair of gardening gloves. (A few pairs of gloves are available).  Refreshments are not provided, so please bring your own, particularly water on hot days.  Sun block is essential during the Summer.  The activities will vary, depending on the time of year, the weather and who turns up!  We often retire to the Barley Mow for a well earned drink (lunches also available) so come prepared.  Please note, we don't always keep to the finish times.  It can be sooner or later depending on the weather.

General Maintenance Meetings:

January 25^th  - Work party. Wednesday, 13.30 - 15.30.

January 28^th  - RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.  Saturday, 9.50 - 11.00.

One hour of bird watching (we hope!) at Sudbury Meadow.  Use Crosshall Road entrance, then meet at seat by Butterfly Garden. Warm clothing and binoculars essential.  Beginners welcome. Please do NOT enter Sudbury Meadow from Regatta Meadow as this will disturb the birds!

February 11^th - Work party. Saturday, 10.00 - 12.30.

February  22^nd - Work party. Wednesday, 13.30 - 15.30.

March 10^th  - Work party. Saturday, 10.00 - 12.30.

March 21^st  - Work party. Wednesday, 13.30 - 15.30.

April 14^th - Work party. Saturday, 10.00 - 12.30.

April 25^th - Work party. Wednesday, 13.30 - 15.30.

May 12^th -  Work party. Saturday, 9.30 - 12.00. Note earlier start time.

May 23^rd  - Work party. Wednesday, 9.30 - 12.00.  Return to morning work party to avoid summer heat.

June 9^th  - Work party. Saturday, 9.30 - 12.00.

June 20^th  - Work party. Wednesday, 9.30 - 12.00.

July   -  Annual General Meeting  Tuesday, 7.30pm.  Venue and date to be confirmed.

July 14^th  - Work party. Saturday, 9.30 - 12.00.  

July 25^th - Work party. Wednesday, 9.30 - 12.00.

August 11^th  -  Work party. Saturday, 9.30 - 12.00.

August 22^nd  -  Work party. Wednesday, 9.30 - 12.00. 

September 8^th -  Work party. Saturday, 9.30 - 12.00.

September 19^th  -  Work party. Wednesday, 9.30 - 12.00. 

October 13^th - Work party. Saturday, 9.30 - 12.00.

October 24^th -  Work party.  Wednesday, 13.30 - 15.30. Return to Wednesday afternoon work parties.

November 10^th - Work party. Saturday, 10.00 - 12.30. Note later start time.

November 21^st - Work party. Wednesday, 13.30 - 15.30.

December 8^th  -  Work party. Saturday, 10.00 - 12.30. Followed by pre-Christmas drink at the Barley Mow.

December 19^th - Optional Wednesday work party, to be confirmed nearer the date.
